Decided to take a break from shmups to make a Pac-Man clone in lib gdx. Things not going so well.

Random update to post some sprites I’m done with. I’m guessing I have at least another 10 enemy sprites to do, 2 of which will be big bosses so will take longer. Then I’ll probably get lazy and just recolour/redesign a few to pad things out.

Couple of work-in-progress shots, main menu and random in-game with new sprites. I changed the size and shape of the game because I’m indecisive and I clearly never want to finish this game. I also now have the framework in place for recording replays, but I dunno if I can be bothered to go that far. Playing in 3x speed is fun though and is stopping me getting anything done.
I actually got something done on Insect Crisis tonight, not much, just some bullet sprites, but it’s something. Here’s a video of Guru Logic Champ for the GBA. Fantastic.

Not gonna be around to take part in Ludum Dare 24 next weekend, so here’s a video of my 23 entry. It’s probably for the best.
Apologies for lack of updates. Got a new job and having to commute 90mins each way (including 2 connections) is cutting into my can-be-arsed-to-do-anything time. Once I catch up on lost sleep I should start getting stuff done again.
